This year, Pörtschach opens its winter gates with a new concept of the Silent Advent. Experience Carinthia’s very first barrier-free Advent trail, illuminated by gentle lights, accompanied by soft music, and adorned with loving details that beautifully heighten the anticipation of a wonderful and contemplative Christmas season. Highlights of the Silent Advent include a romantic star boat cruise, a living nativity scene at the Landspitz and a storyteller sharing magical tales.

For the more adventurous, there’s also cold-water swimming and Christmas tree diving in Lake Wörthersee! Culinary delights complete the experience: regional specialties such as Christmas fish and Pörtschach mulled wine prepared from a secret recipe.
